Cyril
Lush
d. Oct 26, 2014
It is with sadness that the family of the late Cyril Alonzo Lush, age 63, of Triton, NL announces his passing from Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on October 26, 2014.
Cyril was born on January 05, 1951, the son of Willis and Annie Lush. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. He married Louise Collett and together they raised their son Grant in the loving community of triton. On July 5, 2014 he was blessed with his first grandchild Cameron.
Cyril was a dedicated worker with the fishery and was committed to providing for his family. He had a contagious laugh and always had a good word to say about the people around him. He was very much loved in his community; he was a strong man who was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He would not want his friends and family to be sad about his passing but happy about the memories they can share about the wonderful life he lived. On October 26, 2014 the world lost a wonderful man but heaven gained an angel.
His family and all who knew him will truly miss him but he will never be forgotten. He leaves to mourn his wife Louise; son Grant (Kate); grandson Cameron; brothers Wilfred (Ruth), Wilson (Shirley), Alvin (Golda), Leonard (Christine) and Wayne (Janice); sisters Judy (Lar) and Joy (Hayward); sisters-in-law Ruth and Margaret; Pre-deceased by parents Willis and Amelia Lush; brother: Barry Lush; parents-in-law Llewellyn and Irene Collett; stepmother-in-law Ruth Collett; brothers-in-law Stephen Ryan and Richard Crann. Pallbearers were nephews Tyrone Lush and Randy Lush; nephew-in-law Keith Crann; brother-in-law/friend Hayward Strickland; friends Leo Roberts, Ivan Heath, Terry Drover and Dr. Doug Evans (Friend/Chiropractor). The Service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving took place from The Salvation Army Citadel, Triton, NL on October 29, 2014, officiated by Majors William and Trixie Kean. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Bill Weeks, Elaine M. Rideout and Harry Oxford of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale, NL.
