Clarice Hewlett 1924 - 2012

It was with sadness that the family of the late Clarice Hewlett of Robert''s Arm, announces her passing on August 9, 2012. Clarice was born June 19, 1924 to Henry and Agnes Rowsell of Paddock''s Bight. On July 11, 1946 she married Raymond Hewlett and moved to Port Anson. Together they had six boys who were the love of her life - this gave her a full time job cooking, baking, cleaning and all the other duties of a full time mom. She was famous for making cinnamon rolls. In 1964, they moved their family to Robert''s Arm where she lived until December 28, 2011 when she moved to Valley Vista.

She was predeceased by her parents, two brothers, and six sisters. She leaves to mourn her husband, Raymond; sons, Leander (Loris), Job (Gloria), Malcolm (Nola), Fred (Gail), Harold (Donna), Jimmy (Carolyn); 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and a large number of other close family and friends.

The funeral service was held from Word of Life Tabernacle, Robert''s Arm on August 12, 2012, officiated by Pastor William Harnum with interment following at Robert''s Arm Pentecostal Cemetery. The pallbearers were her sons Leander, Job, Malcolm, Fred, Harold and Jimmy. Honorary pall bearers were her grandsons Lindy and Christopher.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Gail (Noel) Hancock and Harry Oxford of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale.
