It is with saddened hearts that the family of the late Chesley Claude Reid of Miles Cove, NL, age 80, announces his passing at The Carmelite House Grand Falls – Windsor, NL.

Claude leaves to remember with fond and loving  memories; his wife of 57 years Lily; daughter, Claudette (Joe) Nyenhuis; son, Chad (Anne) Reid; grandchildren, Brandon (Molly), Kimberly (Kenny), Reid and Gordon; siblings, Raymond Reid, Betty (Rex) Osmond, Milton (Mabel) Reid, Gladys (Lot) Loveman, Gerald (Fronie) Reid, Pauline (Bill) Boyde, Christine (Dave) Rowe, Eugene (Mondella) Reid, Judy (Terry) Wall; sisters-in-law, Nellie and Elsie Reid.

Claude is predeceased by his parents, Gordon & Bertha Reid; infant sister, Shirley; brothers, Hayward and Ambrose.

The family would like to extend special thanks to The Emergency 3A floor of Central Newfoundland Hospital and The Carmelite House, Grand Falls – Windsor, NL.

Donations in Claude's memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

The funeral service will be held from Miles Cove Pentecostal Church, Miles Cove, NL on Monday May 20, 2024 at 1 pm with Pastor David and Joan wells officiating.

Interment will be at the Miles Cove Pentecostal Cemetery, Miles Cove, NL.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale.
