Charlie
Heath
May 10, 1937 — May 30, 2019
Robert's Arm, NL
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Charlie William Heath of Robert's Arm, NL, age 82, announces his passing, surrounded by his family, on Thursday, May 30, 2019 from Central Newfoundland Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
Charles was born to Henry and Edna Heath on May 10, 1937. He married the love of his life, Annie Colbourne, on September 5, 1959. He loved her and took care of her for 60 years. They had 8 children together, 7 sons and one daughter, with many grandchildren and great grandchildren who will all cherish and miss him every day. Having a very strong work ethic he did whatever necessary to provide for his family. He was a cook, a miner, a carpenter, and a driller.
His insatiable love of animals and nature compelled him to stop whenever possible to gaze upon the beauty of God's creation. His passion was woodworking. He had the God given ability to see something in wood and then create the very thing he saw. What filled him with the greatest joy and excitement of all was when he knew his family were coming "home". He was a God fearing, loving, and gentle soul whose passing will be felt by all the lives he touched. Forever In Our Hearts!
He is predeceased by his parents Henry and Edna Heath; brothers Wilbert, Ross; sisters Melvina, Grace, Rowena, Betty, Althea; son-in-law Richard Filiniche.
Charlie leaves to remember the wonderful life that he lived, his wife Annie Heath; sons Reg (Nancy) Heath, Morris (Louise) Heath, Murton (Judy) Heath, Oliver (Juanita) Heath, Bryce (Jackie) Heath, Dennis (Brenda Lee) Heath, Alonzo (Susan) Heath; daughter Trudy Filiniche; grandchildren Brock (Melissa), Brent, Pamela (Matthew), Gregory (Christina), Brandon (Jessica), Byron (Krista), Amanda (Corey), Jonathan (Ashley), Megan (Zac), Vanessa (Brandon), Natalie (Dylan), Jesse (Megan), Lucas, Devon (Latoya), Anna, Kaiden, Mylee, Marcus (Taylor), Matthew (Carla), Miguel, Marten; great-grandchildren Lily Anne, Carla, Mackenzie, Kayla, Jeremy, Taylor, Tye, Emily, CJ, Chase, Mya, Alex, Brooklynn, Brinley, Cameron, Brianna, Emersyn, Brinley, Ayden – all whom he loved dearly; brothers Bert (Winnie) Heath, and Ford (Joy) Heath; sister Shirley Roberts, as well as other family members and friends. He left indelible memories for his family and friends to cherish forever.
