It is with great sadness that the family of the late Carrie Tucker announces her passing at the Valley Vista Senior's Complex, Springdale, NL aged 85 years.

Carrie leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children, Perry (Ruth), Elaine (Stephen), Dianne (Calvin), Claris (Monique), Sandra (Allister), Maxena (Bob), Harris (Lisa), Dwayne (Shannon), Rodney (Monique); 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sister, Juanita; brother, Willie (Betty); sisters-in-law, Mary, Karen, Marie; brother-in-law, Roy (Florence); several nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

Carrie is predeceased by her husband, Doyle; parents, Josiah & Evangeline Simms; granddaughter, Tonya; sisters, Melita, Lily, Celia; brothers, Eric, Harvey, James, Derrick.

The family would like to extend thanks to the staff of Kingsway Living, Springdale Hospital, Valley Vista and her home care workers while still living at home in Triton. Mom loved and appreciated each and every one of you. We're sure mom wouldn't want us to forget to mention her special friends, Vivian (Roberts) Rolfe, Phyllis & Austin Heath.

Special thanks also to Major Gerald Lacey for his many pastoral visits and special friendship to mom and all the family over the past four years.

The public visitation will take place Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 7-9 pm & Sunday, November 19, 2023 at 2-4 & 7-9 pm from The Salvation Army Citadel, Triton, NL.

The funeral service will take place Monday, November 20, 2023 at 1 pm from The Salvation Army Citadel, Triton, NL. The interment will follow from Triton Evergreen Cemetery, Triton, NL.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donation may be made to The Salvation Army Triton Corps, Triton, NL.
