It is with sadness that the family of the late Calvin Pelley announces his passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Citizens Complex, on October 23, 2026, Springdale, NL aged 86 years.

Calvin was a dedicated millwright in Labrador City for 32 years, leading a simple life he truly loved. He spent countless hours at the cabin, hunting, fishing, and trapping; anything that kept him close to nature. His presence will be deeply missed.

Leaving to mourn; wife Olive. Sons; Rick (Jackie), James (Hilda), Mark (Nancy). Grandchildren; Courtney (Jason), Cody (Sara), Cassandra (Mitchell), Kayla, Kyle (Jenny), Jonathon, and Selah. Great grandchildren; Easton, Ada, Calvin, Clara, and Atticus. As well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents; Albert and Jane. Siblings; Huey, Cyril, Mary, Olive, Jean, Maze, and Lurley.
