Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bruce Bramwell Winsor of Triton, NL, age 73, announces his passing on Saturday, May 4, 2019 from the Green Bay Health Care Centre, Springdale.

Comforted with love from son Paul "Roderick", daughter-in-law Lorna and nephew-in-law Harris, Bruce slipped peacefully away on May 4, 2019.

Bruce was born to Adolphus and Blanche Winsor on March 18, 1946. Bruce met his love, Margaret over "Grassy Cove" and were married on December 26, 1965. Since it was a stormy night, many people couldn't attend their reception and with lots of food left over, they celebrated two nights.

Together they had two children Paul "Roderick" and Cindy. They completed their family when they adopted their baby girl Amy. When his granddaughter Danika was born, she stole the baby girl role.

Bruce's passion for life was shown by his love for his family, friends, and fishing. He also enjoyed many visits from his buddies at his shed. They spent many hours "yarning" and cooking up scoffs. He also had a love for his accordion. He played many times in the shed. His buddies would only hear him if they managed to sneak up on him. Soon as he heard their footsteps, he would stop.

Bruce was a friend and buddy to many and he enjoyed many yarns on the wharf with them. He would say, he was going down for a "meeting".

Bruce left many wonderful memories for his family and friends to cherish forever. Bruce is now in a peaceful harbour.

He is predeceased by his parents Aldolphus and Blanche Winsor; brothers Clarence Winsor, Mervin Winsor; sisters Phyllis Stewart, Beryl Roberts, Idella Noseworthy, Rose Winsor.

He left indelible memories for his family and friends to cherish forever. Bruce leaves to mourn his, wife of 53 years Margaret Winsor; son Paul "Roderick" Winsor (Lorna Roberts); daughters Cindy (Kelly) Langdon, Amy (Russell) Roberts; granddaughters Danika (Michael) Digirolamo, Kayla Roberts; brothers Roderick (Linda) Winsor, Robert Winsor, Ross (Doreen) Winsor, Clayton (Thelma) Winsor; sister Lillian Tucker; nieces and nephews, as well as other family members and friends.
