It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bruce "Jausie" Wells, age 74, of Springdale, NL announces his passing at Valley Vista Senior Citizens Home, Springdale, NL on October 29, 2014.

Bruce was born on April 18, 1940, son of Doyle and Miriam Wells. He married Marjorie Tizzard and together they raised their 5 children Terry, Dean, Deanne, Linda and Steve in a loving home in the community of Springdale, NL. He was blessed with 6 grandchildren: Christopher, Bradley, Stephane, Dylan, Jordan and Jake. He also had one great-grandchild, Macy.

Bruce was a loving and devoted husband and father who provided for his family as a logger. He loved to be in the woods and spent much time there. He was very much loved by his community and was always there to give a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He loved the outdoors work and always kept himself busy working in his vegetable garden or cutting wood.

He would not want his family and friends to be sad about his passing but happy that he is at peace in heaven with our Heavenly Father. He has left the family with great memories. They can happily share about the life that he lived. On October 29, 2014 the world lost a wonderful, generous and loving man but heaven has gained an angel.

He leaves to remember the wonderful life that he lived, his wife: Marjorie; sons: Terry (Lori-ann), Dean (Dana) and Steve (Nicole); daughters: Deanne (Jéan) and Linda (Jonathan); grandchildren: Bradley, Dylan, Christopher, Stephane, Jordan and Jake; great-grandchild: Macy; brothers: Frazer (Christine), Sheldon, Rudy (Patricia), Malcolm, Bob, Woodrow, Fred (Audrey) and Eugene (Mary); sisters: Barb (John), Annie and Patsy (Wayne). Pre-deceased by: parents Doyle and Miriam Wells; brother Sidney; and sister Evelyn.

The Celebration of Life service was held from The Salvation Army, Springdale, NL on Sunday, November 02, 2014 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Glenda Hale officiating. Interment was at The Salvation Army cemetery, Springdale, NL. The pallbearers were: Terry, Dean and Steve Wells (sons); Bradley Wells and Jordan Noel (grandsons); and Jonathan Noel (son-in-law). Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Gail Hancock, Elaine M. Rideout and Harry Oxford at Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale.
