It is with sadness that the family of the late Bradley Edward Verge announces his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, aged 62 years.

Bradley leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories: his loving wife, Deanna; children, Timothy (Chelsea), & Tyson (Alisha); grandchildren, Katie Verge, Harper Verge, & Landon House; parents, Linda & Francis Verge; siblings, Corvin (Rebecca), Dennis (Rosemary), Michelle (Charles), Coralie (Gerald), & Jamie (Glenda); as well as nieces and nephews and a large circle of extended family and friends, whom he loved dearly.

Bradley is predeceased by grandparents, Selby & Althea Verge and Arthur & Fannie Winsor.

Brad loved anything outdoors, whether it be fishing, hunting, cutting wood for the fire. Prior to the past few years, you would rarely find him inside the house, unless he was coming home to a meal prepared by his wife Deanna. The outdoors was where he felt most alive. In later years, while his passion for the woods and water never faded, he shifted his focus to his greatest pride and joy, his grandchildren. With the strength and time he had left, he poured himself into them, ensuring they felt his love in every way he could give it.

From a young age, Brad became a provider to those around him. He began working at the fish plant as a young man and dedicated many years there as his children grew. Later, he worked away from home to continue providing for his family, a role he carried with deep pride and purpose. He found meaning in giving, in helping, and in supporting not only his family but his wider community. For 25 years as a volunteer firefighter, he answered the call without hesitation, carrying immense pride in his ability to serve when he was needed most.

Life handed him his fair share of trials in later years, yet he faced them with quiet strength. When his health limited what he could do physically, he made certain that those around him never questioned his love. If he could not give through action, he gave through presence, warmth, and unwavering devotion.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Dialysis Unit at CNRHC for the kindness, compassion, and exceptional care shown to Brad over the past several years. You became a second family to him, and he spoke of you all with deep respect and gratitude.

The public visitation will take place Monday, February, 16, 2026 from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM and Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM at The Salvation Army Triton-Brighton Community Church, Triton, NL.

The funeral service will take place Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 1:00 PM at The Salvation Army Triton-Brighton Community Church with Major Garry and Sandra Ward officiating.

The interment will follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Brighton, NL.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Green Bay Funeral Home, 145 Cpl. S. Bouzane Blvd., Springdale, NL.
