Bonnie Evelyn
Fudge
Jul 21, 1950 — Dec 4, 2019
It is with deep sadness that the family of the late Bonnie Evelyn Fudge of Brighton, NL, age 69, announces her passing, on Wednesday, December 4, 2019.
Bonnie Fudge was born at Brighton July 21, 1950 to Althea and Selby Verge. As a child she was quite ambitious and dedicated to her family. The youngest of eight children, she learned much from her siblings. She worked at her sister, Ida's, post office and later at the fish plant in Triton, and she learned from her mother to be the excellent cook she was.
Married in 1967 to Floyd Fudge, they raised six children together. She was passionate about her children - Jeffrey, Lisa, Dwayne, Dion, Kerry, and Lyndon - and proved to be an amazing mother. As time passed, Bonnie and Floyd would have many grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Bonnie loved her hometown and working with friends. Upon early retirement she cherished spending time in her garden feeding the abundance of birds that visit for a treat, as well as a black Lab named Midnight who visited faithfully each day knowing he would be fed. She enjoyed sitting in her swing watching people go by, waving and talking to them.
Bonnie loved company and greeted everyone with a smile and kind words. She will be forever remembered in our hearts for her love, kindness, and compassion.
Bonnie is predeceased by her parents Selby and Althea Verge; sisters Lily Butt, Ida Fudge; brother Wilfred Verge; grandson Morgan Fudge.
She leaves to remember the wonderful life that she lived, her husband Floyd Fudge; daughter Lecia (Brian) Bridger; sons Jeff Fudge, Dwayne Fudge, Dion (Cathy) Fudge, Kerry (Amie) Fudge, Lyndon Fudge; grandchildren Ryan Fudge (Katie Henderson), Marcus (Denna) Fudge, Mariah Fudge (Adam Miller), Allison Fudge, Victor Fudge, Harley Elliott, Kendall Gale, Zander Fudge; sisters Mavis (Rex) Fudge, Ruby Guy; brothers Clarence (Primrose) Verge, Frances (Linda) Verge, as well as many nieces and nephews and other family members and friends. She left indelible memories for her family and friends to cherish.
Ever Remembered, Ever Loved – Forever In Our Hearts!
