It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Robert 'Bob' Smith aged 72, of South Brook, NL, announces his  passing on July 1, 2022.

Bob leaves to remember with beautiful memories of the wonderful life he shared; with his wife, Verlie; daughters, Dana (Mik) Gortva, Heather Smith, Amanda Smith; sisters, Bessie (Bramwell) Roberts, Nellie (Ray) Milley; grandchildren, Ryan Pieters, Tyson Gortva, Dylan Gortva, Chloe Gortva; special niece, Debbie Adest; as well as other nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

He is predeceased by his parents, Roland and Minnie Smith; brothers, Max Smith, Harvey Smith; sisters, Francis Young and Ada Rumbolt

Bob was an amazing husband, father and grandfather, who loved his wife and children. When his grandson was born, his life was complete because he got his boy, the one he always wanted. He was a very hard working man that provided for his family. His family came first no matter what. When Verlie's father passed away he welcomed her mother into the family home with open arms. She lived with him until her passing. He will surely be missed by his wife, daughters, grandkids, his furry little buddy and anyone else who has ever met him. The Celebration of Life service was held from Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle, South Brook NL. on July 6, 2022 at 2pm with Pastor Kerry Northcotte officiating. Inurnment was at the South Brook Pentecostal Cemetery. Bearers were Amanda and Heather Smith (daughters).  Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Harry Oxford of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale.
