It is with great sadness that the family of the late Maxina "Beryl" Roberts (nee: Winsor) of Triton, NL, age 79, announces her passing, on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at the Valley Vista Seniors Complex, Springdale, NL.

Beryl Winsor was born to Adolphus and Blanche Winsor on October 24, 1935 at Triton West ("Triton Harbour"). She was the eighth of fourteen children. She married Ross Roberts of Jim''s Cove on December 3rd, 1952. They had nearly 63 years of marriage, raising 2 boys and 2 girls together. She was a homemaker until her children were raised and she went to work at the local FPI fish plant until her retirement. Together, Beryl and Ross enjoyed the quiet time surrounded by family in "the garden" in Jim''s Cove. They enjoyed cabin life at both Kippen''s Ridge and Head''s Harbour. Beryl loved berry picking and cooking Sunday Dinners for her family. In the past several years she endured much physical pain but with dignity and faith in her Lord and Savior. In the early morning hours of August 15, 2015 Beryl transitioned peacefully and pain free to her heavenly home.

Beryl was predeceased by her parents Adolphus and Blanche Winsor; brothers Mervin Winsor and Clarence Winsor; sisters Rose Winsor and Idella Noseworthy; siblings Marion and Howard in infancy; great-grandson Chandler Dean Roberts.

Beryl leaves to mourn husband Ross Roberts; sons Wilmore (Daphne) Roberts and Orvin Roberts (Diane Stein); daughters Bonnie (Don) Roberts and Winnie (Lindy) Vincent; brothers Rodderick (Linda) Winsor, Robert Winsor, Ross (Doreen) Winsor, Bruce (Margaret) Winsor, and Clayton (Thelma) Winsor; sisters Phyllis (Charlie) Stewart and Lillian Tucker; grandchildren Krista (Lorne) Hamlyn, Melinda (Brad) Noel, Moody Roberts (Amanda), Marsha (Grant) Whelan, Mark Roberts (Judy Henstridge), Nadine (Con) Roberts, Deidre (Charles) Roberts, Justin Vincent, Justine (Mike) Thomas, and Jana-Lynn Vincent (Eugene Peddle); great-grandchildren Kendyl Hamlyn, Kylie Hamlyn, Claire Roberts, Maria Roberts, Ryan Whelan, Drew Whelan, Suri Roberts, Parker Roberts, Cooper Roberts, and Noah Thomas; as well as a large number extended family and friends.

The Home Going service was held from Maranatha Pentecostal Tabernacle, Triton, NL on Monday, August 17, 2015 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Mark Foster officiating assisted by Pastor Brad Noel. Interment was at the Evergreen Cemetery, Triton, NL. Honorary pallbearers were great-grandson Parker Roberts and grandaughter Deidre Roberts. Pallbearers were son Wilmore Roberts; grandsons Moody Roberts, Justin Vincent; granddaughters Melinda Noel, Marsha Whelan; son-in-law Lindy Vincent. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Gail Hancock, Elaine M. Rideout and Harry Oxford of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale, NL.
