It is with great sadness that the family of the late Augustus Garland Burton, age 93 of Pacquet, NL, announces his passing on January 17, 2023. He leaves to remember with beautiful memories; Sons Roy Burton, Paul Burton, Denley (Shelley) Burton; Daughters Doris Wyatt, Daisy (Don) Baker), Bonnie (Dale) Green, Loris (Tony) Blackler; Grandchildren  Danny, Dustin, Chad, Mark, Krista, Adam, Andrew, Kent, Brent, Megan, Kayla, Jermaine, Chloe, Khayden, Amara, Jazmyne, Samantha; 16 Great-grandchildren; 3 Great-great grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his wife Gertie Burton; Parents Albert and Lucy Burton; Son David Pratt; Grandsons Trent Wyatt, Craig Wyatt; Brothers Ralph Burton, Nelson Burton, Fred Burton; Stepbrothers Hayward Mitchell, Jack Mitchell.

The Celebration of Life service was held from Green Bay Funeral Home, at 11 am, with Pastor William Sampson,  assisted by Pastor Roy Hillier, officiating at the Green Bay Funeral Home service, followed by a short service at Harvest Time Pentecostal Church, Pacquet, NL, on January 20, 2023  with Pastor Keith Simms officiating at The Pacquet service. Interment was at the Pacquet Pentecostal Cemetery. Pallbearers were son Denley Burton; grandsons Brett Burton, Danny Baker, Jermaine Sacrey; grandson-in-law Tyler Bennett; son-in-law Tony Blackler
