It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of the late Muriel "Audine" Anstey, age 63, announces her sudden passing at her home in King's Point, NL, on Saturday, May 2, 2020.

Audine was born May 7, 1956 to William and Blake Warford of Rattling Brook. She met Lloyd Anstey of Springdale and they later married on September 18, 1976. They then moved to King's Point where they started their family. In January 1977, they were blessed with their first child a beautiful baby girl whom they named Tammy. Then in September 1978, they were blessed again with a baby boy whom they named Michael.

Her biggest joy was her 5 grandchildren Tanner, Michaela, Mitchell, Mason and Claudette, who she loved and adored more than life itself.

Audine loved being a stay at home mother who enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends.

She started working for the school board as a student assistant where she instantly fell in love with her job looking after special needs children. It filled her heart with immense joy every day to get up and go to work, where she had a special bond with each child she worked with.

Audine's love for everyone was especially evident with all the young people she came in contact with. All of Tammy and Michael's friends called her mom and she loved them all like her own and referred to them as her children. Audine had a great love for everyone but her first love was her love for God and her faith in Him was paramount.

She will be greatly missed, forever loved and never forgotten by her husband, children, grandchildren, family and friends.

Audine is predeceased by her parents William and Blake Warford; brother Dennis Warford; nephew Perry Warford; parents in-law Calvin and Alma Anstey; brother in-law George Anstey.

Left to cherish with many wonderful memories are her husband Lloyd Anstey of 43 years; daughter Tammy Anstey (Sheldon Rideout); son Michael Anstey (Melanie); grandchildren Tanner Oxford, Michaela Anstey, Mitchell Anstey, Mason Anstey, Claudette Rideout; sisters Roxanne (Barry) Kelly, Rose (Rocco) White, Ruth (Elli) Picket; sister-in-law Alva Warford; brothers Allan (Wavey) Warford, Wayne (Bonnie) Warford, Lloyd (Thelma) Warford, Everett (Beulah) Warford, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Ever Remembered, Ever Loved – Gone, But Not Forgotten – Forever In Our Hearts!

The Celebration of Life service was held from Green Bay Funeral Home, on Monday, May 11, 2020 at 11:00 am with Majors Brian and Betty Thomas officiating. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Elaine M. Rideout and Harry Oxford of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale.

On October 30, 2021 The Inurnment grave side service took place at The Salvation Army cemetery, Springdale, NL with Major Brian Thomas officiating.
