Arthur Hewlett
1923 - 2012

It is with sadness that the family of the late Arthur Hewlett, age 89, of Miles Cove, announces his passing at Valley Vista Senior Citizens Home on December 13, 2012.

Arthur was born on June 1, 1923 to Albert and Cinderella Hewlett. He later married the late Flossie Rowsell and together they raised six children. He enjoyed a long working relationship with Hewlett''s Group and retired in 1987 after having spent 22 years with the company. Arthur was known for his carpentry skills, gardening, and his love for the outdoors, especially his walks with his wife, Flossie. But he was really in his glee when he was involved in an argument, especially if it was about politics. Arthur will be missed by all who knew him.

He was predeceased by his wife Flossie; grandson Stephen Foster; brother Don; and sisters Netta and Daisy. He leaves to mourn his sons Harvey, Derrick (Karen), and Elmo (Julie); daughters Effie (Mark), Loretta (Junior), and Eileen; grandchildren Kelly, Susanne, Lisa, Michael, Brandon, and Emily; step grandchildren Matthew and Deedra; great-grandchildren Hayley, Katelyn, Eric, Lucas and Samantha; daughter-in-law Marilyn; sister Marie; and brother Alex (Ruby).

The funeral service was held from the Pentecostal Church, Miles Cove on December 17, 2012, officiated by Pastor Norman Joy with interment at Pentecostal Cemetery, Miles Cove. The pallbearers were his sons Derrick & Elmo, Sons-in-Law Junior & Mark, Grandchildren Michael, Susanne, & Lisa, and great-granddaughter Hayley.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Gail (Noel) Hancock and Harry Oxford of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale.
