It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alvin Lawrence Lush, age 73, of Triton, NL, announces his peaceful passing on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at home surrounded by his family.

An avid outdoorsman and a "Jack of all trades", Alvin was skilled at everything he did. He was a fisherman for 56 years, a hunter and sure was good with a chainsaw. Alvin was a dedicated father and was committed to providing for his family.

When he wasn't on the ocean, he was staring out the window at the ocean. He loved his life and loved fishing. His family and all who knew him will truly miss him and he will never be forgotten.

He is predeceased by his parents Willis and Annie Lush; brothers Barry Lush, Cyril Lush.

Alvin leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife Golda Lush; son Junior Lush (Shellie Bowman); daughters Wanda (Dan) Dillon, Myra Lush; grandsons Matthew (Sarah) Dillon, Brandon Dillon (Gill Feehan), Kyle Roberts; great granddaughter Margaret Dillon; brothers Wilfred (Ruth) Lush, Wilson (Shirley) Lush, Leonard (Christine) Lush, Wayne (Janice) Lush; sisters Judy Ryan, Joy (Hayward) Strickland; sisters-in-law Ruth Fudge, Louise Lush; nieces and nephews, as well as other family members and friends.

The Celebration of Life service was held from Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale, on Monday, April 8, 2019 at 2:00 pm with Majors Terry and Roxann Feltham officiating. Interment was at Triton Evergreen Cemetery. The pallbearers were son-in-law Dan Dillon; grandsons Matthew Dillon, Brandon Dillon; bothers Wilfred Lush, Wilson Lush; brother-in-law Hayward Strickland; friend Brad Wiseman. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Elaine M. Rideout and Harry Oxford of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale.
