Obituary

ALMA WINSOR 1926-2012
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alma Winsor of Triton, NL. announces her passing into the presence of her Lord on Monday, February 13th, 2012. Alma was born to Alfonzo and Minnie White on December 7, 1926. She married Hector Winsor on October 8, 1943. Together they raised 16 children.
Alma served the Lord for many years and loved to provide meals and lodging for Pastors that would come to town for conferences, etc. She enjoyed trout fishing, boating and camping with her family and friends. She loved to worship and fellowship with her church family. Before her sickness she enjoyed spending time on the mainland with her family.
She is predeceased by her husband, Hector; Parents: Alfonzo & Minnie White; Son: Calvin; Sister: Ruby Brown.
She leaves to mourn, with wonderful memories: Sons: Bert (Ada); Wilmore; Steadman (Theresa); Collin (Verbena); Austin (Julia); Mac (Golda); Chesley; Derrick; & Daryl (Bernadette). Daughters: Barbara (Dave); Joy; Shirley (Boyd); Bonnie; Ruby (Darrell) & Myra (Sam). Brother: Merrick White (Rose) ; 40 Grandchildren; 32 Great-Grandchildren & 2 great-Great-grandchildrenalso a large number of other relatives & friends.

The funeral servicewas heldfrom Maranatha Pentecostal Tabernacle, Triton on Friday February 17, 2012 @2:00pm.,officiated by Pastor Jeffrey Elliott , assisted by Pastor Tyrone Ball.

Pallbearers were grandsons: Lee Wiseman; Michael Winsor; David Bridger; Denny Winsor. Granddaughters: Judy Noseworthy and Julia Bridger.
Interment was at Triton Interfaith Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Chris Morgan and Harry Oxford of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale.
