The family of the late Albert Thomas George Paddock of Robert's Arm, NL, age 98, announces his passing on April 19, 2025 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Centre, Corner Brook, NL.

Bert leaves to mourn; Daughters  Nerissa Kunze, Rhona Penney – Cromwell (Garry), Donna Winsor; Son Rex (Catherine); 9 Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren; 6 Great Great Grandchildren

Bert is predeceased by his parents Thomas & Mary Paddock;  his wife Gladys; Son Ford; Granddaughter; Tanya Paddock; Great Granddaughter Haley Trotter; 5 Brothers & 1 Sister

John 11: 25-26,  Jesus said, I am the resurrection and the life, He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?

Dad believed! The morning of April 19th, 2025, Dad answered the call, and left for his heavenly home.  Dad was well known throughout the island and beyond.  He had worked with many different companies through the years.  Before retiring @64 he had worked with the town of Robert's Arm, where he was jack of all trades.  A job he loved, but it kept him on his toes, morning and night.

His great sense of humor was loved by all who knew him.  He was greatly appreciated for his witt and humor. He just loved to tell jokes and make one laugh, the more you laugh, the more jokes he would tell.  Someone told me they couldn't wait for Dad to come to the work site.  He made their day.  One man said, your father was great medicine.

Dad loved his wife and children.  He proved this every day by working hard and long hours to provide for us all.

The Paddock Family wishes to extend a special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Corner Brook Long Term Care Centre, Corner Brook, NL  for their care and support provided during his stay.

The funeral service will be held from The Word of Life Pentecostal Tabernacle, Robert's Arm, NL on Wednesday April 23, 2025 at 3 pm with Pastors Bob Mills and Geoffrey England officiating. Interment will be at the The Salvation Army Cemetery, Robert's Arm, NL.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale, NL.
